The DES-1005D is a switch designed to improve performance in small and home offices, offering 10/100Mbps flexibility. It allows connecting devices operating at 10Mbps or 100Mbps to each port, increasing bandwidth and improving response times.

The device has 5 ports that support the NWay standard, negotiating 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX network speeds, as well as full-duplex and half-duplex modes. The flow control function minimizes packet loss by sending collision signals when the port's receiving buffer is full, available in half-duplex mode.
